Fetty Mercury's Singing thread
Figured it was about time for a singing thread for me. First, a little info about my voice:
Vocal description: Light Tenor, very youthful voice (Age 14!), can imitate lots of vocalists quite well, especially Geddy Lee
Vocal Range: For highs, I can belt easily up to around B4, and can usually go up to D5/E5, but can go up to G5 on good days. On a few spur-of-the-moment occasions, i've gone as high as Bb5. Falsetto takes me up to E6, and whistle up to C7, but I can whistle-scream up to C8. Lows, ...

Singers whose voices have aged the best
I've been on here over 2 years, and never started a topic of my own, so without further ado.
While there may still be some loss of range or change of tone, which singers do you think have aged the best vocally? Still sounding great and making due with what they've got, or perhaps they haven't lost much range at all, or gained some over time.
I'll start with two who come to mind right off.
John Arch at 51 Years old. He disappeared completely between the late 80s and early 2000s, then ...

General Vocal Timeline thread
I've seen some of these on various threads (James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine) so here's a thread where you can post a timeline for any singer documenting their vocal evolution.
I'll start, with a timeline for Geddy Lee
Geddy Lee Vocal Timeline:
1974-1975: Very youthful, raw, high voice, similar to Robert Plant or Janis Joplin. Insane range and power, but very uncontrolled. Best demonstrated in the Agora Ballroom concert in 1974, as well as studio cuts such as "Finding My Way", "Anthem", ...

Choir bass versus actual bass?
My cousin was placed as "bass 2" in choir, because the required range is ~F2-C4 and he can hit all of these notes. Obviously, he's not an actual bass-- I don't believe I've ever met one. Plus, it seems like 95% of guys who have gone through puberty can hit an F2. What is the TRP definition of a bass?
